The Moudari area is at the northerly edge of Kythira and is an ideal destination for those who want to escape from the crowds. From there, you can enjoy the uninterruptable view towards the Lakonian Bay, Elafonisos and the Maleas Cape, to explore small caves with fossils and to have a swim in the quiet beach of Agios Nikolaos. Move Northeast from the Amir-Ali’s junction in Karavas following the dirt road for about 3 km until you see the Lighthouse. One of the least known corners on the island, those who’ll dare to step in, shall be rewarded by it’s beauty.
